Lovely.
ReplyDeleteI am happy that I knew most of these. However,I must disagree with number 27. ;)
Erin I love this. And as a fellow 31 year old, I can relate to your honesty and your words. You are beautiful and loved.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Girlie.
Happy Birthday and welcome to 31! I'm 31 (as of January) so I can assure you it's a very good year to be! Wishing you all the best for the next 12 months - and yes, I agree, bow ties and suspenders should make a come back in men's fashion!!
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious! I turned 31 last week, and I'm not sure I could find 31 one things to say about myself! I really love your blog - just discovered it the other day :o)
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! Yellow is a beautiful co our for your front door - like a sign that proclaims "happiness within". Wishing you a lovely first year in your wee farmlet with horses to ride and cows to pet.
ReplyDeleteyou don't know me ... however i love reading your blog!!!
ReplyDeletewe have MORE than less of things in common :)
happy birthday!
Laurie
Happy happy birthday!!! Hope you had a great day full of surprises and love.
ReplyDeleteI think I've said this before...I don't think you're an only child; I think we may have been separated at birth. I'm almots sure of it, having seen your hair and your complexion! Love this honest list...loveable and self-loving, quirks and all. Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteI am in the process of painting my front door red! And I want to get a new screen door and paint it yellow! I agree 100% about toilet paper over the TOP, and also find my own birthday to be lonely, but love celebrating others. So it is too bad we don't live closer, because if all of us (your friends, family, and loving readers) congregated around you, we wouldn't give you a chance to feel lonely! XOXOXO-a
ReplyDeleteyep. hurray for 31. it's grand.
ReplyDeleteand number 17. oh. yes. love the excuse to leave the house at odd hours and in all weathers. wish we had one here - we just may have to remedy that . . . and (speaking from experience) it must have white twinkle lights and a heater that can be turned on from inside the house for those -30 degree F mornings. :)
Oh, brilliant! See? You're so damn interesting, more, more!
ReplyDeleteAnd we're the same weight!
I must disagree with the outhouse idea, however. As a noctural pee-er, that'd be a tremendous inconvenience. Oh man, I'd cry.
Oh and I totally saw a dude in suspenders yesterday, a young dude. He was kind of an annoying hipster, but the suspenders were definitely cute and dapper as heck. Mike, are you reading?
I met my husband on Lava Life too :)
ReplyDelete31 seems a lifetime ago, though I'm only 40 now. I was 31 when I met Colin and started to really live!
I stopped by when I saw your 'sleepless in Gooderham' post. My uncle has a cottage in Tory Hill, so we were often through Gooderham (from Bowmanville). My Ella was a terrible sleeper (still not great some nights) and a fairly strict sleep schedule was a must. I spent a lot of time sitting in her room, she needed the company to fall asleep. The secret is not to talk to her while doing it. Just your presence. We still have some rough nights when she wakes a number of times. But the good nights out number the bad ones now.
Hope you work things out.
